Because of the current world situation we have decided to not offer mass lodging during Umefolk 2022 since we have come to the conclusion that we are unable to implement it in a safe way in accordance with current restrictions and guidelines.

Hotel / Youth Hostels

During the weekend of Umefolk 2022 most hotels in Umeå are fully booked due to Swedish Rally that is arranged during the same dates. If you are interested in private lodging email [email protected]

Hotels might release room closer to the festival so it is worth a cheack! For example Comfort Hotel Winn.

Other low cost options only 5 minutes from the festival are Norrland YMCA Hostel (Swedish only website), and there are many other quality hotells in the center of town just minutes away from the festival.

Umeå Folkets hus is situated at "Vasaplan", the downtown hub for city busses. The regional bus station and train station are only about 5 minutes away by foot. Umeå airport is 10-20 minutes away by airport bus or taxi.
