Swedish folk music meets symphony orchestra in a musical story about life. Together with the Norrland Opera’s Symphony Orchestra, fiddler Görgen Antonsson and folk singer Sofie Kunze reflect the primordial power and beauty of our mutual, traditional music treasure. In his orchestral arrangements, Karl-Johan Ankarblom has taken the core sound of folk music to paint a cinematic and dramatic horizon worthy of the great stories. This concert, which was planned for Umefolk no less than twice before, will now finally become a reality and will kick off Umefolk 2022.
